The mission of MOE-HILLS is to provide positive outcomes through athletics, education and awareness of healthy life skills with "TEAM" (Teaching Educating And Motivating) while empowering our youth to become healthy and knowledgeable adults

MOE-HILLS non-profit organization was formed with the goal of bringing together the most appropriate resources to help local communities regain their stride and become even stronger than before.

Helping Individuals Learn Life Skills, as the name implies, is an innovative way of teaching basic values of yester year for meeting the needs of today‚Äôs youth.  We do this by implementing appropriate skills, education and viable service programs.

MOE-HILLS encourages the achievement of goals that ensure optimal healthy living, while developing the skills, values and resources to understand the important aspects of long-term education and health of at-risk youth through TEAM (Teaching Educating And Motivating).  Focusing on the prevention of at-risk health behaviors including drug abuse, teen parenthood, violence, and STDs/AIDS  as well as being made aware of diseases like Cystic Fibrosis (an inherited disease that causes thick, sticky mucus to build up in the lungs and digestive tract. It is one of the most common chronic lung diseases in children and young adults) and promoting educational and social values.

LonZell and Lanita Hill, Founders

Our 20 plus years of experience in the field of social/youth work has been very rewarding. We challenge ourselves and use our skills, knowledge and experience to support our organization in its challenges and successes.

We have a high degree of motivation with a commitment and a passion for working with and for community. We have been involved with several community boards and committees.

We have an array of unique skills including the motivation and will to work at being the best in our desired field of work. The same efforts it took LonZell to become a professional athlete are the same efforts it takes to create a successful community organization. It definitely takes teamwork to make a dream work.
